I have not yet felt the Holy Spirit release me from continuing the topic of praise, so here I go again. Can we ever praise God too much?

Pause. No, I mean really pause and really read and think about this Scripture verse. God formed the mountains. My thoughts when I read that was about when my children had to do three dimensional projects for geography and were busily creating mountains out of playdough. Now, take that thought and think about God forming mountains from nothing. He just created them. Awesome, right? But the thoughts about God’s creation are deeper here; He also created the wind. And He is such a totally amazing God that He reveals His thoughts to man. Oftentimes when I am writing, I feel like God is telling me what I should be typing into my little blog. Have you ever been awake at dawn? Have you watched the sky change colors as the dawning sun lights the sky? Sunset is the same. Absolutely breathtaking! God created that for us to enjoy and to marvel at His creation. I’m not sure what the verse means when it says that He “strides on the heights of the earth” but I like to think of God in the heavens, just being everywhere at all times, watching over us and all that He has created. He is above all and He is the Lord, the God of Hosts. He is the God of everyone who accepts Him as Lord. It makes me wonder how anyone can look at all of creation and not believe in God.

For the last few days, we have had a terrible heat wave. As a result, each evening, we have had a big storm with a magnificent display of lightning and rolling thunder. God created these, too. It amazes me how everything works just the way God wants it to.

Continually to me means at all times. In the line at the grocery store, traveling to see a doctor or a friend, while we do whatever we do throughout the day, praise should be in our mouths. He created us to praise Him, so our purpose in life is to worship and praise our Creator, our Savior, our Lord. I hope that you will spend some quality time today praising the One who loved you enough to die for you. Blessings for a day filled with praise and joy! Here are some wonders of God’s creation that I hope will bless you.

The photos are from ones that I have taken or from online friends. Smile, folks! This is God’s work and He wants us to enjoy it!
Fantastic post! God is awesome.
I, too, feel like God gives me the words for my little blog, too. It’s kind of my ministry. 😀

Vickie, such beautiful pictures!! And, I loved your blog post about praise. This encouraged my heart. The Lord keeps putting thoughts or songs or scriptures in my head about giving it all to him, desiring him above all else, surrendering all to him, wanting him more than all this world has to offer, all our possessions, expectations, everything. He has been impressing more and more on my heart how I need to trust in his sovereignty over all things. So, this lesson about praise just fits so perfectly with what he has been teaching me.
