What a thoughtful thing to do, Vickie! Thank you. Every time I come across that verse from III John I always remember what a Bible teacher pointed out long ago: John didn’t pray that his friend’s soul prosper to same degree as his physical health (as we might expect), but the other way around. We’d do well to hold up such a standard for our own body/spirit health-evaluation, since our spiritual well-being is so much more important.
