I used to discipline my children regularly in order to train them to listen and obey. I disciplined them because I loved them and wanted them to grow up and into the ability to self-discipline. I feel very blessed that God loves me enough to discipline me with the aim of making me more like Him.

Sometimes it seems like wicked people are getting away with doing evil (They aren’t.) and we can get instant consequences. But if I complain to the Lord, He will remind me that a father only disciplines his own children. ❤️

As one of our teachers at church said, Satan doesn’t attack the sinners. They are already his. He attacks God’s children, hoping to hurt God’s heart.
