What sounds are in your life right now? For me, it’s the washing machine, the dryer, my husband flipping pages of his notebook as he pays bills. And me hitting the keys on the keyboard. The sounds I want to hear are praise, so that’s what I will share as I surround myself with the comforting presence of the Lord.

The sounds I hear at the moment are Across the Lands- Live, by Stuart Townend, the wind outside, some steps of someone in the house, a car driving past, and the tapping of my fingers on my phone screen 🙂

My past Saturday’s sounds included hearing our car motor humming with precision as my wife and I drove to a special rendezvous for a light breakfast and later a mall walk. We enjoy experiencing the voices and joy of others. At the moment, I’m listening to “Shenandoah” as well as other easy listening Christian music.
