The Seen Movement is about really seeing people, and helping those same people know they are seen by God every day. It’s about caring and kindness and making a difference. The Seen Movement is about being generous … every time you leave the house.

We need kindness in today’s world. Only love can push back the darkness and this site, with these cards can make a difference. You can even make your own cards. You can’t do everything, but you can do one thing. Help the workers that touch your lives know that you truly see them, and more importantly, God sees them and loves them…really loves them.
This sounds like a commercial and it is not meant to be. It’s a cry from my heart for you to join me in doing something to help a hurting world. I feel broken right now, devastated by what is happening in America and I only know one way that healing can come and that is through Jesus Christ and His love. How will they know that they are loved if we don’t show them?
I don’t have many words today, but I do want to share Scripture with you in hopes that it will help you in some way today.

I have silently been mourning what has been happening in our nation this last week. I am so sad for the Floyd family and their unimaginable loss. But I know, in my heart, that what is happening in the U.S.A. is not the best of us. It is absolutely the worst and should not be! How did Jesus react when there was unrest? Well, when the Jewish leaders came to arrest Him, Peter tried to defend Him by cutting off the ear of one of the men. Jesus immediately rebuked Peter and healed the man, replacing and restoring his ear. Jesus heals, not destroys! What we are seeing these days is not healing anything! It is not bringing peace to the Floyd family. Justice is coming, folks, but the wheels of justice move slowly, and the violence has got to stop now!
I was in tears this morning when I read the story of the fire set to a home in Richmond, Virginia, the capital of my state. There was a child inside! An innocent child! And the rioters blocked the firemen’s pathway to rescue the family inside. Yes, their blocking was brief, but what were they thinking? Why set fire to a family’s home? What is the purpose? Anger?

I read an article by Dr. Denison today that I want to share with you. And I ask that you read it PRAYERFULLY!

The song may include ads that you will want to skip.
My prayer today: Yes, Lord! Let the peace on earth begin with me! Let me speak peace, think peace, pray peace and show peace to others. Let your love shine through me. In Jesus’s Name. Amen.
If this is your prayer, too, then I ask that you share this post with others and let’s make the cry for peace go viral! The cry for riots and destruction is already there. We can do better than this. Jesus did! Blessings my friends for safety wherever you are and for peace in your hearts that the world cannot understand because the world did not give it. Jesus did!
What a twisted story of love, loss, secrets, greed and revenge! At the beginning of the story, the main character, Eleanor, is in jail. The rest of the story is a look at how and why she got there. Nothing is as it seems in this novel! Each time I thought that I had figured out a plot twist, it jack-knifed and went the opposite direction. Fascinating plot! This book was edgy, dark suspense and an intense psychological thriller. I was taken inside the mind of poor Eleanor, an overweight, shy young woman who has been ridiculed her entire life by her mother and her Hollywood-bound sister Amy. Eleanor’s only advocate is her father who is dying of cancer. In the hospice, Eleanor discovers that he is not her real biological father, so becomes determined to find her family. Stan Gallinger, her biological father, is not in the running for father of the year since he flatly tells Eleanor to get lost! So Eleanor decides that she wants a relationship with her sister Victoria Gallinger. What a turn in the plot that was! The twists and turns continue all the way to the shocking ending! I enjoyed the plot twists and the characters, but sometimes I felt like I was getting whiplash from the quick turn-arounds from the deceit that is a part of the plot. A really enjoyable read for fans of suspense and thrillers!
