Dr. Denison said it much better than I could, and his article is below. Yes, I’m still upset about what I consider a fraudulent election that took place on November 3rd and again on Tuesday in Georgia. But, there is a peaceful way to do things. Yesterday was not it. I am saddened by the thought that the world looks at our democracy as an example of what not to be. I pray for the United States of America to survive the next four years of socialism, but if we do not, then I believe that it is because we did not truly submit to the Lord. Pray for the U.S.A. Do not condemn us; we are hurting and need to heal from a divisive election that was not transparent and seemingly not free and fair as we tout that our elections should be. God bless all of you. No matter which side of the debate you are on, God loves you and wants you to know that His love is greater than your sin.
You are so right, Vicklea. Every one of us is a sinner in need of a Savior. There is only one Savior, and until we acknowledge Him (and I’m afraid precious few of us do), it doesn’t matter which sinner is in the White House, America is on its way down. Thankfully, God does not need America or any one of us. Instead of arguing whose side God is on, we should be spending our emotionally energy making sure WE are on HIS side.

“… but if we do not, then I believe that it is because we did not truly submit to the Lord.” I agree, Vickie. Well said.

Thank you, Vicklea, for sharing Dr. Denson’s excellent forum. With him I pray for God’s redemption of the attack on the Capitol building. I pray for truth to prevail, for the righteous to be heard and heeded. I pray that Americans might see that the Judeo-Christian values we once upheld as a nation contributed greatly to our stability and prosperity. We are on the brink to slip away from that stability and prosperity, and it may happen very quickly. God help us! He is the only One who can.
